A Glimpse into the Sacred Heart of Hindu Mythology

The sacred Chakratirtha, a circular pond said to have been created by Lord Vishnu’s divine discus (chakra), lies at the heart of Naimisharanya. The discus is believed to have marked this as the holiest land on Earth. Pilgrims flock here to dip in its waters, seeking liberation and blessings. Temples dedicated to Lord Vishnu, Devi Lalita, and various sages narrate the stories of Hindu cosmology.
